A Royale Cleanup After Hurricane Sandy

Royale Class Cleans Up While Rebuilding After Hurricane Sandy

November 19, 2012
Brooklyn, NY

Business Consulting and Staffing Firm, Royale Class, Inc. though impacted like so many others by Hurricane Sandy, continues to serve while rebuilding its own business.  Royale Class, a pillar in Brooklyn’s Manhattan Beach neighborhood since 2009, lost both of its offices to Hurricane Sandy; but a little more than two weeks after the storm, the Company is rebuilding and providing staffing for contractors and the New York City Department of Sanitation to assist with the cleanup efforts.

For founder and CEO Lori A. Sottilotta, it was a mere bump in the road,

“We’re New Yorkers. We don’t quit, we don’t just roll over. Yeah, our offices are gone; but we gave our people new laptops and just said, ‘Let’s see what we can do to help clean up the mess,’” she continued, “Yes, there is a lot of devastation, but I see a lot of work to be done. We work together in the community and we dig ourselves out.”

There is certainly a lot of work to be done for Sottilotta, who has her company and her people to be concerned about. She is intensely focused on rebuilding the offices in Brooklyn and putting as many people to work on the cleanup efforts as she can, and the progress in New York City and the boroughs is beginning to show; as businesses like Royale Class and individuals like Lori work tirelessly to rebuild what Sandy destroyed.
